Accra Mall to introduce family club for better shopping experience
PGhana’s first large-scale mall, Accra Mall, is set to launch a new loyalty club to give families an enthralling shopping experience at the mall on Saturday March 23, 2019.
Dubbed, ‘Family Club’, it is aimed at giving parents and their children a number of fun activities to enjoy at the shopping place.
A statement from the Communications Department of the Mall explained that the launch, which would take place at the Mall would be a fun packed family day with free games and activities.
It urged families to register for the club to receive their membership card which would be unveiled at the launch.
The membership card, the statement explained, allows families to receive a series of special offers and discounts, free gifts and the opportunity to take part in more events that would unfold at the shopping centre.
Ms Denise Asare, the Marketing Manager of the Accra Mall, according to the statement said: “We are very elated to introduce ‘Family Club’ in Ghana to give families the opportunity to enjoy and spend more time at the mall as part of their day out experience with us”.
She noted that Family Club would also receive firsthand information on any promo or activities that would take place at the Mall, the statement said.
The statement noted that as part of the benefits of the Club, families would have an opportunity to receive discounts and offers from some retailers at the mall as well as free gifts and magazines for children.
“…we pride ourselves in providing the best shopping experiences for our patrons. We are always looking for opportunities to give our customers the very best hence the introduction of our Family Club,” she said.
To sign-up for the Family Club, Ms Asare explained that a card can accommodate a family of two adults and up to six children, adding that, it was open and free to all parents (grandparents, step parents, guardians) with children under the age of 16.
The Accra Mall, commissioned on July 4, 2008, is one of the modern western style shopping centres in West Africa and the first large-scale mall in Ghana with an enclosed fully air-conditioned shopping centre.
It has a retail space of 20,322 square metres with parking for over 900 cars.
The Accra Mall is anchored by South African giants, Game and Shoprite and accommodates over 70-line shops, a radio station, a five-hall cinema and 11 restaurants of which 30 per cent are operated by Ghanaian retailers.
