HOMECOMING! HOMECOMING!! HOMECOMING!!!

THE Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Accra Newtown Congregation, invites all Presbyterians and the general public to its maiden homecoming dubbed ‘Come Let Us Build’.

It would be held on September 29, 2019 at 9:30am, at the Newtown Presby Church (Raaco Down).

All are welcomed.

Martha Bruwah

Burial will take place of Martha Ama Bruwah, Minister of the Christian Mission Dunamis Int’l, after burial service by the Christian Mission Dunamis Int’l, at Okadjakrom, in the Jasikan District of Oti Region, on Saturday, October 5, 2019.

There will be final funeral rites after burial, at the Town Square, and memorial and thanksgiving service at the Okadjakrom Presbyterian Church of Ghana, on Sunday, October 6.

The late Bruwah was sister of Dr Okagya Ntim and Obaapanyin Akosua Dentaah, and mother of Shaw Takyi Kodam (GES, Accra), Jennifer Oparebea, Barbara Mawutor, Accra, and Mariam Asiamah, UK.

CPP LOSES A MOTHER

The Convention People’s Party (CPP) has lost Mrs Sophia Appiah-Danquah (née Ama Serwah), wife of the late CPP stalwart, Martin Appiah-Danquah (Central Committee Member), Secretary-General of the United Ghana Farmers Cooperative Council, Minister, Plenipotentiary and Ambassador Extraordinary), whose death occurred on Tuesday, September 16, 2019, at Laterbiokorshie, Accra.

Mrs Appiah-Danquah was the daughter of the Apagyahene, Manhyia, Kumasi; mother of Mrs Diana Nyatepe-coo (retired Principal of Ghana International School) and Martin Appiah-Danquah (formerly of Guinness Brewery) and aunt of Akyaaba Addai-Sebo (stalwart Nkrumaist).

The traditional one-week observance will take place on Monday, September 30 at the Nurses and Midwives Hostel grounds, Zoti, Korle Bu. Funeral is on  November 2, 2019 at Patasi Estates, Kumasi.
