Draught fans in and around the Accra-Tema areas would be thrilled on Boxing Day, December 26 with the 2024 edition of the National Open Draught Championship expected to attract the finest players across the country.
The annual event is used to commemorate the yearly celebration of Farmers Day, held every first Friday in December.
However, this year’s celebration was brought forward to November due to Ghana’s presidential and parliamentary elections just around the celebration.
A member of the organisational team, Samuel Aboagye (Adansi), confirmed the new date of December 26 and Tema Community 5 venue for the championship to the Times Sports yesterday.
It will kick off at exactly 8am.
