Ferfed Business Consult Limited (FBCL) yesterday organised a skills development seminar for 74 students, graduates and entrepreneurs here in Tema, as part of continuous skills development.
The facilitators, made up of Human Resource and Development, Accounting and Taxation experts, discussed best ways students and graduates could prepare for interviews and write professionally acceptable curriculum vitae (CVs).
The Entrepreneurs session dealt with partnerships for business growth and understanding accounting and book keeping.
In his opening address, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of FBCL, Mr Rexford Jones Baffoe, stated that the seminar was to ensure that entrepreneurs did well in their endeavours and students were well- prepared to transition smoothly into the world of work.
Participants were awarded certificates at the end of the seminar.
In a related development, the firm launched its corporate social responsibility Programme known as the Ferfed Cares Project aimed at giving back to society and the community in which it operates.
According to him, apart from the step up seminar, the Ferfed Cares Project would support Religious based programmes to impact society positively, it would undertake community priority initiatives by engaging with the people to bring development.
Mr Baffoe said: ”We are excited about this as an organisation because we are giving back to society for accepting us.”
