A1 Bread, a local bakery, yesterday, treated staff of the New Times Corporation (NTC) to a sumptuous breakfast as part of their way to show love in February; the month of love.
The gesture was a way to give back to society and show love to the staff of the Corporation, publishers of The Ghanaian Times and The Spectator.
The breakfast, which included bread with fried egg and chocolate drinks, was also to promote collaboration between the two organisations.
Speaking with this reporter after the meal, Head of Sales at A1 Bread, Mr Isaac Dadzie, said the move was to appreciate the Corporation for their contribution to news dissemination.
The gesture, the company representatives said, was part of an ongoing community outreach project dubbed “Share Happiness”.
“So, we are looking at strengthening our bonds with the NTC and communities that are around from time to time,” he said.
According to Mr Dadzie, the A1 Share Happiness initiative, which comes off every February, is to strengthen the bond between A1 and the communities that patronise their nutritious product.
“And so, we do it from time to time. And it’s locally manufactured products. And so, yes, we are looking forward at strengthening our bonds with the communities that are around from time to time,” he said.
He added that whenever corporate clients needed breakfast orders, they were available, and that the event was a goodwill package that could lead to future cooperation with other organizations.
He urged that the A1 brand is patronised to ensure the company grew in leaps and bounds to create employment for those in the bakery industry.
“This is a goodwill, more or less, message or package. And so, we know that from time to time, with other cooperation, we can ask to do something with them in the near future,” he said.
