Accra is set to host more than 10,000 delegates from 100 countries for the 10th Triennial World Congress of the Assemblies of God Fellowship, in what will be the first time the global gathering is being held in Africa in its 115-year history.
The three-day congress, scheduled for October 14 to 16, 2026, is expected to attract thousands of visitors to the country and provide a major boost to the hospitality industry, transport operators, food vendors, petty traders and other local businesses.
The General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana, Rev. Stephen Yenusom Wengam, who announced this at a press conference in Accra, said the historic event would also provide an opportunity for Ghana to showcase its image to the international community. Read More
