The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat and Quest Ghana have signed a joint venture agreement to establish and operationalise a continental digital trade corridor aimed at transforming intra-African trade and strengthening Africa’s digital economy.
Dubbed the AfCFTA Digital Trade Corridor (DTC), the initiative will provide digital infrastructure to facilitate cross-border trade, connect African businesses and markets and expand opportunities for corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), informal traders and farmers across the continent.
