Bayern Munich have confirmed Sadio Mané will not be included in the squad to face Hoffenheim this weekend.
“The reason is the misbehaviour of Mané after the Champions League match against Manchester City. Additionally, Mané will receive a fine,” a statement on the club’s website said.
Reports from Bild and Sky Sport on Wednesday claimed the Senegalese struck team-mate Leroy Sané in the face in the dressing room after the 3-0 defeat, with Sané reportedly left bleeding from his lip.
Bayern have not commented on the incident until now, and have not confirmed what happened.
Mané, who has not scored for the club since October, was in training with his team-mates on Thursday but will now miss this weekend’s game. -Onefootball
