Ghana Premier League sponsors, betPawa, on Tuesday, presented its biggest pay cheque for GH¢6millon to a winner, Fuseni Siaka, at a ceremony in Accra.

The emotional Kumasi-based proud winner of a sports bet, 36, won the jackpot with just GH¢40.

The winner, a painter at Barekese, a suburb of Kumasi said, “I was shocked when I saw the figure, I could not mention it so I showed it to a brother. The next moment, I had a call from betPawa and the caller told me not to worry, and that my cash was intact.”

“Later, they visited in a convoy, flew me in a private jet; gave me a brand new iPhone 15 Promax. Thanks to betPawa for this massive turn around,” he narrated.

“It is real, but don’t borrow to bet; use the little you have and you could be the next winner,” he advised.

The Country Marketing Manager for betPawa, Mr Joseph Badu, said “we are here to unveil and celebrate the biggest winner, Fuseni. This goes to show how credible we are. It is not a lie. We keep our promises.”

He said the company was committed to ensuring that people play their games and earn a fortune as Fuseni did.

The winner was in the company of his friend and sister who were excited about the ‘victory.’
