The Bible Society of Ghana (BSG) has appointed Rev. Dr John Kwesi Addo Jnr as its new General Secretary.
He replaces Rev. Dr Enoch Aryee-Atta whose tenure ended yesterday.
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by Rev. Dr Enoch Aryee-Atta, the outgoing General Secretary of BSG, yesterday in Accra.
It said an induction ceremony would be held on March 19, 2023 at the Bethany Society of the Methodist Church Ghana, Dzorwulu.
With extensive years of rich experience in Christian leadership, Very Rev. Dr Addo Jnr has worked in various leadership roles and distinguished himself throughout his ministry in the Methodist Church Ghana.
The statement said Rev. Addo Jnr was bringing on board a strong theological background and a passionate focus on Christian missions.
It explained that BSG was a non-denominational and inter-denominational Christian organisation with voluntary membership.
The vision of the organisation, according to the statement, is “Bible for everyone” and its mission is to make God’s Word available, affordable, and usable to transform lives”.
It said the BSG’s core values included faithfulness, integrity, partnership, professionalism, excellent customer service, responsiveness and prayerfulness.
