DEFENDING champions, Ghana’s U15 girls’ team, the Black Damsels, are preparing to defend their crown at the prestigious CAF African Schools Football Championship finals.
The next edition of the competition is scheduled to take place in Maputo, Mozambique on April 2-10.
Organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the championship has rapidly grown into one of the continent’s most important youth football platforms, showcasing emerging talent and promoting grassroots football development across Africa.
The Black Damsels will enter the tournament with confidence and pride, carrying the weight of their defending champion status.
Their triumph in the previous edition marked a historic moment, underlining Ghana’s growing strength in women’s youth football.
The team, assembled under the guidance of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Ghana Education Service (GES), is expected to face stiff competition from other African nations.
As anticipation builds toward kickoff in Maputo, all eyes will be on the Black Damsels to see whether they can shine again.
