The Kingdom Mandate Devotion (KMD) in partnership with Promasidor on Saturday presented assorted items to the Rising Star Orphanage, Dodowa in the Greater Accra Region.
The items worth GH¢13,000 included beverages, toiletries, stationeries formed part of the devotion’s core social responsibility as well as marked their 10th anniversary.
Speaking at the function, Papa Elijah Agyemang, founder of the devotion noted that it was important for children to be shown love and care as demanded of Christians in the Bible.
He stated that the gesture was among the numerous donations made by the devotion to help the vulnerable in the society.
“As an organisation, we do not only exist to spread the gospel but also to support the vulnerable in the society, the main focus of this devotion is to help the under privileged in the society amidst preaching the gospel,” Mr Agyemang stated.
Madam Victoria Samson leader and founder of the orphanage expressed gratitude to KMD for the kind gesture.
After the donation, members of KMD and the kids had wonderful entertainment sessions and games ranging from balloon hunt, lime and spoon, apple in water, sack race and eating competition.
This was the ninth time the Devotion was visiting the orphanage after drilling a mechanised borehole for them last two years.
