Dreams FC ended its nine-game winless streak in the ongoing Ghana Premier League (GPL) after beating struggling Medeama SC 1-0 in their match day 10 game played at the Tuba Astro Turf on Saturday.
Talismanic skipper, Joseph Esso, scored the only goal of the game from the spot in the 71st minute. Dreams FC came back stronger in the second half, attacking their guests in a bid to find the back of the net.
However, they struggled to penetrate the Medeama rear which stood resolute and thwarted the several forays into the area.
Fortunately, Dreams FC was given a penalty after the referee adjudged striker Charles Diawisie Taylor to have fouled Eric Danso Boateng in the Medeama goal area for a penalty.
Joseph Esso, the most experienced player in the Dreams FC setup, he slotted coolly into the net, sending goalkeeper Adams Abdul Jabal the wrong way.
