The projects, which covered coding, electronics, engineering and 3D printing, were the highlight of the inauguration of the Galaxy Techno Hub in Accra.
The facility, described by the school as a university-standard technology and innovation laboratory, is expected to provide students with hands-on experience in designing, building, testing and improving technology-based solutions.
Launching the facility, the Managing Director of Galaxy International School, Mr Mehmet Akmermer, said the hub was established to bridge the gap between classroom theory and practical application and prepare students for a technology-driven future.
He said the facility would expose students to emerging fields such as robotics, software development, artificial intelligence (AI) and engineering, while helping them develop creativity, critical thinking, teamwork and entrepreneurial skills.
Mr Akmermer said the school, which was established in Ghana in 2001, remained committed to providing an education that went beyond academic excellence to equip students with practical skills and confidence.
The Deputy Director of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Mr John Kumavor, who represented the Greater Accra Regional Director of Education, Hajia Katsumi Nankoma Atai, commended the school for the initiative. Read More
