German President to visit Ghana

The German Federal President, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, is scheduled to visit Ghana in November for the second time in less than a year, in a move expected to further deepen economic, security and skills cooperation between the two countries.

German Ambassador to Ghana, Mr Frederik Landscoft, who announced the visit, said it would coincide with the German-African Business Summit (GABS), a major business gathering expected to bring together more than 600 participants, including German companies operating across Africa.

The summit, scheduled for November 23–25 in Accra, will provide an opportunity to strengthen trade and investment ties and showcase Ghana as a gateway for German businesses seeking to expand their operations across Africa. Read More
