The Ghana Deaf Football Federation (GDFF) presented a citation to its patron, Dr James Orleans-Lindsay, yesterday in recognition of his dedicated support for the federation over the past decade.
Led by GDFF President Mr Christopher Ekpo, the citation was presented to highlight Dr Orleans-Lindsay’s contributions and to strengthen the partnership between the federation and his company, J.L Properties.
Mr Ransford Lartey, Public Relations Officer of GDFF, described Dr Orleans-Lindsay as a pillar of support for the federation’s activities. “In respect of the great work, the Federation deems it fit to honour him and also to inform him of our next tournament in Cameroon in April next year, which will serve as a qualifier for the Australia 2027 championship,” he said.
Responding, Dr Orleans-Lindsay assured the federation of his continued support for their activities, including the qualifiers and the upcoming Australian championships.
Also present at the meeting were key federation officials, including Mr Patrick Johnson (Secretary General), Deputy Secretary General Stephen Abrokwah, Team Manager Samuel Nortei, Head Coach Godfred Baffoe, and interpreter Tony Akowuah.
