HMIGL launches 2026 model of Hyundai Palisade

 HYUNDAI Motors and In­vestment Ghana Limited (HMI­GL) has official­ly launched its latest flagship Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), the Hyundai Palisade 2026, at a colourful ceremony in Accra.

The event attracted automobile enthusiasts, industry stakeholders and the media, thereby signalling Hyundai’s strengthened commit­ment to Ghana’s growing automo­tive market.

Among the specifications of the model are a calligraphic trim with advanced technology, relaxation seats for both front and second-row passengers, a digital centre mirror with electrochromic glare-reduction, and a tilt camera for real-time rear visibility.

Speaking at the launch, the Country Manager, Mr Ganesh Y. Phadale, described the new model as a “symbol of innovation, reliability and progress,” reflecting Hyundai’s long-standing vision to make modern mobility accessible to all.

He added that the Palisade 2026 represented a blend of advanced engineering, safety, and comfort, while upholding the brand’s prom­ise of value for money.

Mr Phadale explained that the launch was not only about unveil­ing a new vehicle, but also about cementing Hyundai’s role as a long-term partner in the growth of Ghana’s automobile industry.

He reaffirmed the company’s dedication to customers, stressing that innovation, affordability, and efficient after-sales service remain at the core of Hyundai’s opera­tions.

Mr Phadale revealed that all seven Hyundai models, including the new Palisade, are now being assembled locally at the company’s state-of-the-art plant in Tema.

He commended management, staff and loyal customers for their support, assuring that Hyundai would continue to set new bench­marks in mobility solutions.

On his part, the Field Sales Manager and Senior Consultant at Hyundai, Mr Abdul Razak Moham­med, described the new Palisade as “a statement of bold premium,” poised to make waves in Ghana’s automobile market.

“The Calligraphic trim boasts advanced technology such as mas­sage and relaxation seats for both front and second-row passengers, a digital centre mirror with electro­chromic glare-reduction, and a tilt camera for real-time rear visibility. Its 21-inch, 24-spoke rims add a striking reflective effect in mo­tion,” he said.

He described the new model Palisade as a Special Edition which comes with a rich suite of premi­um features while maintaining af­fordability. Prices are set at $70,000 for the Special Edition and $75,000 for the calligraphic, with negotiable options available.

“To give customers a full taste of the Palisade experience, Hyundai has planned a week-long showroom exhibition in Accra,” he added.
