The Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) has appealed to Ghanaians to change their over dependent voting pattern for either the New Patriotic Party (NPP) or the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and look into the future with a LPG government.
“It is time for the citizenry to change their vote pattern from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and look in the direction of the LPG to liberate the nation from the dependency on foreign goods, services and interferences,” it stressed.
According to the party, the NPP and NDC were playing with citizens, there was the need to put them away, bring new and fresh blood to manage affairs of the country with all the seriousness she deserved which LPG was ready and capable of creating jobs and wealth for better future.
Kofi Akpaloo, the Founder and Leader of LPG, who made the appeal in an interview on the side-line of the party’s regional conference in Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region, charged members, supporters and well-wishers of the party to embark on rigorous campaigns and convince Ghanaians on the need for them to move away from NPP and NDC duopoly.
“None of them have anything good for us and God will use me to transform your lives if given the nod as president, in the 2024 elections, the defunct Pwalugu tomato and Bolgatanga meat factories will be revamped to create job opportunities for the youth in the region.
“Apart from revamping the old factories, my government will construct five new additional factories, we are talking about mega factories – I know the region already has two important factories that we have allowed to go waste and we will revive them, the additional five factories, there will be boost in the local economy with the needed capital injected into the economy to undertake more and massive development projects,” Mr Akpaloo assured.
He urged the people of the region to repose trust, confidence, support and assist the party with their mandate to take over the administration of the country in 2024 to better their lives, pay monthly allowances to every Ghanaian child would be implemented under the ‘Child Benefit Policy’ of the party for parents and guardians to receive monthly allowance of GH₵300.00 for the upkeep of their children.
