The Superior General of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), Very Reverend Father Arturo Marcelino Sosa Abascal, SJ, is scheduled to visit Ghana from October 12 to 15, 2026, in a move expected to strengthen the Jesuits’ mission and highlight their more than five decades of service to the country.
The visit will also focus on the proposed Campion Jesuit College at Buduatta in the Central Region, envisioned as the first Jesuit college in Ghana.
The visit is expected to be a moment of gratitude, renewal and hope, reflecting on the Society’s history in Ghana while looking ahead to the future of education through the proposed institution. Read More.
