THE Minister of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation (MEST), Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, has called for closer collaboration among stakeholders to address the country’s growing environmental challenges.
She said the threats posed by climate change and environmental degradation required concerted efforts by the government, institutions, citizens and other stakeholders to promote sustainable practices and protect the country’s natural environment.
Dr Agyeman-Rawlings made the call yesterday when she formally assumed duty at the Ministry in Accra, taking over from the Acting Minister, Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, who is also the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources. Read More
