Cioba Aristica, newly appointed Head Coach of Aduana Stars Football Club, has promised to position the club among the top four in the premier league season.
That, he added, remained a Herculean task though but called for the cooperation and support of the fans to enable him to achieve that vision.
“My main focus for the rest of the season is to fight to be among the top four,” he stated, during a
meeting with the club’s supporters’ union at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Sports Stadium at Dormaa-Ahenkro.
“I am extremely happy to be back to join the club as the Head Coach”, he stated, and, added
that, “when I received a phone call from the club’s life patron, Osagyefo Oseadeyo Agyemang Badu II, the Paramount Chief of Dormaa Traditional Area, to come over and assume a new role as the club’s Head Coach, I was impressed about the deal”.
“I discussed extensively with my family back home and personally accepted to come over to Dormaa-Ahenkro to coach the club,” he indicated.
Coach Aristica further underlined that he would work to improve the team’s performance and wait for the registration window to see which areas of the team needs strengthening.
“I know the spirit of the team and we need to keep fighting, go onto the pitch and die to win the maximum points, as we try to win each game or at least a draw to stay on top,” he stated.
Moreover, he said the players ought to change their mentality and work hard every day, saying the opportunity provided an opportunity to develop young football talents in the area.
Mr Kwadwo Adjei, the Chairperson of the Supporters Union, appealed to the supporters to provide both material and financial support to the club. –GNA
