A new 100-seater capacity Dome for worship has been dedicated for the Okpoi Gonno Methodist Nursery Society of the Airport East Circuit of the Methodist Church, Ghana.
The Dome was acquired by members of the Immanuel Methodist Church, East Airport in the Regimanuel Gray Estate, led by the Immanuel Methodist Men’s Fellowship.
Inaugurating the Dome last Sunday, the Bishop of the Northern Accra Diocese of the Methodist Church, Ghana, Right Reverend Professor Joseph M.Y. Edusa-Eyison, said the provision of a place for worship was in line with the objectives of the Methodist Church Ghana to evangelise to win more souls for the Kingdom of God.
He disclosed that the Methodist Church Ghana has decided to focus more on teaching its members across the country to live like Jesus Christ in the ensuing year and beyond.
Rt Rev. Prof. Edusa-Eyison commended the Airport East Circuit for its contribution to the development of the church.
The Superintendent Minister of the Airport East Circuit of the Methodist Church Ghana and Minister-in-charge of the Immanuel Methodist Society, Very Rev. Dr Jacob W. French, expressed the gratitude of the Church to Mr and Mrs Amos Sackitey for offering their premises for the worship of God, and prayed that the church grows to become a bigger society in the Circuit.
Other members of the Northern Accra Diocese, who were at the inauguration, are Mr Nimo Ahinkorah, Lay Chairman, and Very Rev. Rebecca Baiden, Assistant Synod Secretary of the Northern Accra Diocese and Minister-in-charge of the Trinity Methodist Society, Martey Tsuru of the Airport East Circuit.
