University of Education, Winneba student, Reginald Collins Amoah, has been appointed to officiate the Ghana Premier League match day 14 ‘Super Clash’ between Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Level 200 Physical Education student, who joined the profession about four seasons ago, has four league matches under his belt this season, out of which he has received a lot of plaudits.
Based in Cape Coast, Referee Amoah will lead a quartet of officials for this cliffhanger, which was originally scheduled for the Accra Sports Stadium, until the National Sports Authority (NSA) declared the facility unavailable due to other engagements.
He will be assisted on the lines by Ali Timuah Baah and Mikaal-II Fauzan with broadcaster Gabriel Opoku Arhin acting as the fourth official.
Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Member, Alhaji Adam Munkaila, will sit in as the Match Commissioner.
Hearts lie eighth on the log with 16 points while Kotoko lie seventh with 19 points after 13 games.
The match is expected to kick off at 3pm.
