ACCRA East Oldies posted a 1-0 win over visiting La Emmaus in their Match day 15 game of the on-going Retired National Footballers Association of Ghana (RENFAG) Oldies League played at the Osu Ako-Adjei Park.
A 78th minute finish from Lennos Laryea was all the Osu lads needed to post another famous victory over the La based side in the Zone B clash.
Felix Bondu in post for the La side was the most outstanding player in the first half, drawing saves from Sidney Agorvor-Otchie, Enoch Annang and Roger Eli Setordjie.
The visitors had their moments in the game with opportunities falling to Godfred Nortey, and Nii Odartey Lamptey but they failed to find the back of the net.
Twelve minutes from the end, defender Reginald Ashiley put through Laryea on goal; the striker wasted no time in slipping the ball past onrushing goalkeeper Bondu.
In the other zone games, La Salem Oldies defeat Osu Tenashie Oldies 2-0, Rangoon Oldies beat La Oldies 1-0, with Dansoman Tony Oldies securing a 2-1 win over Adabraka/Asylum Down Oldies.
In Zone A, Nii Laryea Oldies played out a 1-1 drawn game with Nungua Oldies while Nungua Veterans lost 2-1 to visiting Tema Veterans KFC.
