The Ghana Evangelical Society (GES) yesterday called on Ghanaians to repent from their bad ways as the country is faced with the wrath and fury of God.

The Society indicated that God was displeased with the current state of affairs of the country, hence, the GES called on all and sundry to “hearken to God and embrace his word in order for His will to manifest in the destiny of this nation and its people, whom He has chosen to be His very own.”

Addressing a press conference in Accra, the Vice President of the Society, Rev. Fred Dadson, noted that the Lord in a vision to the Society said the country was not seeking Him and His ways, for which reason there was a pressing need for Ghanaians to turn away from their evil ways and please the Lord.

Questioning if a man could serve both God and mammon at the same time, he relayed God’s message to the arms of the government, including the fourth estate of the realm, the media.

For the executive arm of government, Rev. Dadson said the Lord wanted the executive to know that “the Sceptre shall not depart from His elected one, the “David” elected on the throne.”

“The David of the Land shall stand in his position, the people of the land shall hear his voice for he shall speak words of comfort to them,” he added.

He said the Lord would replace legislators he did not establish and make his will prevail.

For the judiciary, the Vice President of the GES said the Lord would “lift high the ark of freedom and justice and the ark of righteousness and purity”.

“Let no man stand in the way of the Most High God, lest he be consumed. For He will find men whose hearts are after Him to promote His works of righteousness in the land,” he added.

Regarding the media, Rev. Dadson said the Lord would find men and women who shall stand for the truth and publish nothing but the truth.

More so, he assured of the Lord’s mercy for those who would turn from their evil ways unto the Lord.

“Let Ghana know that for those who will turn from their wicked ways my grace will deliver them, and those who will continue to perpetuate evil and remain in wickedness, I will take them out,” he stated.

Calling Ghana “Beulah”, he added that the country was married to God and he shall visit the country with peace, righteousness and holiness
