There is the need for the country to facilitate the upgrading of rural telephony from 2G and 3G to a minimum of 4G to enhance connectivity in rural communities, the Minister of Communication, Digital Technologies and Innovation, Mr Samuel Nartey George, had stated.
According to him, it was unjust to have rural telephony in some rural communities still operating on 2G and 3G network, while other communities did not have rural telephony infrastructure, affecting the quality of telecommunication services and connectivity. Read More
