Stanbic Bank Ghana has been named Ghana’s Best Investment Bank at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026, contributing to Standard Bank Group’s 17 awards across Africa.
The award recognises the bank’s continued work in providing corporate and investment banking solutions to support businesses, facilitate investment and contribute to economic growth.
For more than 30 years, the Euromoney Awards for Excellence have recognised financial institutions for outstanding performance, innovation and impact on clients.
Standard Bank Group was also recognised for its performance in securities services, corporate and investment banking, and SME banking across key African markets.
Among the Group’s other honours were Africa’s Best SME Banking Ecosystem, Africa’s Best for Securities Services and Africa’s Best Investment Bank for Equity Capital Markets.
The Group Chief Executive Officer of Standard Bank, Sim Tshabalala, said the awards reflected the bank’s ability to serve clients across different sectors of the economy, from entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to multinational companies, institutional investors and governments.
“The awards recognise Standard Bank’s ability to serve clients across the full spectrum of the economy, from entrepreneurs and SMEs to multinational corporates, institutional investors and governments.

Commenting on the Ghana award, the Head of Corporate and Investment Banking at Stanbic Bank Ghana, Musah Abdallah, said the recognition reflected the bank’s commitment to providing advisory, financing and capital market solutions to its clients.
