The United Nations (UN) Office in Ghana has called for the rapid mobilisation of private capital to support the country’s sustainable industrial transformation.
It said public financing alone could not provide the scale of investment required to address Ghana’s climate and development challenges.
The UN Resident Coordinator in Ghana, Mr Zia Choudhury, made the call at the 2026 Sustainable Business and Green Finance Summit organised by the UN Global Compact Network Ghana in Accra yesterday.
