Abbosey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association pledges to collaborate with GUTA

The Abbossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association has pledged to collaborate with the Ghana Union of Traders’ Association (GUTA) to strengthen the country’s trading environment.

Also, the Abbossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association congratulated the new President of GUTA, Clement Boateng.

The Chairman of the Abbossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association, Mr Henry Okyere Jnr., told The Ghanaian Times that “the entire membership of the Abbossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association, warmly congratulates the newly elected President of GUTA on his successful assumption of office.”

The Chairman expresses confidence in the President’s leadership and emphasised the need for unity, teamwork, and collective responsibility among all trader groups under the GUTA umbrella.

According to the Chairman, “the challenges facing traders today require cooperation rather than division. We must work together as one team, share ideas, and support one another in order to protect our businesses, stabilise markets, and contribute meaningfully to national development,” Mr Okyere Jnr. stated.

“The Association also acknowledges and appreciates GUTA’s renewed recognition of the critical role played by the Abbossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association within Ghana’s automotive and trading ecosystem. As we move forward, we remain fully committed to working closely with GUTA to address industry challenges, promote fair trading practices, and support sustainable growth,” he stated.

He said through unity and collaboration, the two organisations could work together to achieve “greater results for our members and for Ghana’s economy as a whole.”

For his part, the Head of Communications of Abbossey Okai Spare Parts Dealers Association, Mr Takyie Addo, said his outfit would work closely with GUTA to promote the interest of traders.

“We are pleased to announce that, in the spirit of reconciliation, unity, and cooperation, the leadership of both organisations has since engaged in constructive dialogue. These engagements have resulted in significant progress toward resolving all outstanding issues that previously affected our relationship. Both parties have reaffirmed their commitment to improved communication, stronger collaboration, and lasting cohesion,” the statement said.
