Asaga Calls on Ghanaians to Vote NDC to Implement Women’s Development Bank

Ms Cecilia Asaga, a National Executive Member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has emphasized the importance of establishing a Women’s Development Bank to empower women and foster inclusive economic growth in Ghana.
She described the initiative as a critical intervention to uplift women and ensure their full participation in national development.
Speaking on the transformative impact of the bank, Ms Asaga noted that it would provide much-needed financial resources for women entrepreneurs, small business owners, and community-based projects, addressing systemic financial barriers that have hindered women’s progress for decades.
“The Women’s Development Bank will be a game changer for women in Ghana, giving them the tools to build businesses, support their families, and contribute meaningfully to the economy,” she said. “This bold initiative can only be realized if Ghanaians vote for the NDC.”
Ms Asaga emphasized that voting for the NDC and its presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, would mark a turning point for women in Ghana, stating, “A vote for John Mahama and the NDC is a vote for empowerment, equity, and progress. This is a game changer that will transform the lives of women and by extension, the entire nation.”
She highlighted the NDC’s track record of implementing policies that uplift marginalized groups and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to prioritizing women’s needs in its development agenda.
“This is not just about women’s empowerment; it is about building a more inclusive and prosperous Ghana,” she added. “The NDC and John Mahama are the right choice to lead this charge.”
Ms Asaga urged all Ghanaians to consider the NDC’s vision for progress and equity, stressing that voting for the party would ensure that initiatives like the Women’s Development Bank become a reality.
