B/R GTA shows love to Sunyani Municipal Hospital Paediatric Unit

The Bono Regional office of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) on Friday presented boxes of chocolates and cocoa related products to the paediatric unit of the Sunyani Municipal Hospital in Sunyani of the Bono Region.
The donation also included five packs of Venna Mineral water and it forms part of the Regional GTA corporate social responsibility towards patients at the paediatric unit of the hospital.
The gesture was to show love and care towards children and mothers on admission at the paediatric unit of the hospital as part of this year’s celebration of Ghana’s Chocolate day which fell on St. Valentine Day being celebrated on February 14 every year.
Making the presentation, the Deputy Bono Regional Director in charge of Hospitality of GTA, Elike Dei-Zanga, said the Chocolate Day celebration was to emphasise the need for Ghanaians to consume more cocoa products which according to him has a lot of health benefits to their body.
Mrs Mercy Fordjour, Head of Nursing at the Sunyani Municipal Hospital who received the donation on behalf of the facility expressed her gratitude to the Bono GTA for their kind gesture to the unit
She noted that the show of love and care by GTA with the items would go a long way to boost their moral and help speed up the recovery of patients on admission for their early discharge.
