THE Country Manager of Investing for Employment (IFE) in Ghana, Karim Gad has called on corporate organisations and individuals to take advantage of its new employment project and submit innovative proposals for funding.

The IFE is an investment mechanism by KfW Development Bank on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Corporation and Development (BMZ) as an integral part of the special initiative “decent work for a just transaction.”

Speaking at the launch of the Call for Proposals for the IFE in Accra on Tuesday, Mr GAD said the Call for the Proposal which opened in March 20, 2026 would end June 1, 2026.

He said the initiative was covering eight countries including Ghana, Rwanda, Egypt, Ethiopia and Malaysia.

Mr Gad said private companies as well public and non-profit organisations were eligible to apply for co-financing grants under the IFE.

He said the grant could cover private and public infrastructure projects and applicant could raise 800,000 Euros and 10 million Euros per project.

IFE Country Focal Point for Ghana, Adwoa Kwarteng Larbi, on her part, underscored the importance of compliance with employment, safety and legal standards in all submitted projects.

She explained that proposals would be assessed based on key performance indicators, including access to social protection and adherence to legal systems.

Ms Larbi added that there were four categories under the initiative including profit-making and non-profit enterprises.

She encouraged applicants to make use of the evaluation framework outlined in the guidelines, which provided clear criteria for scoring and allows participants to assess their proposals before submission.
