CIFF donates essentials to Twin City Special School
Communities in Faith Foundation (CIFF) an NGO, has donated essential groceries to the Twin City Special School in Sekondi -Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana.
The donation, presented by the Greater Accra Regional Development Coordinator on behalf of Chief Executive Director Mr. Stephenson Aggrey, included items such as rice, oil, toilet rolls, tomato paste, sachet water, eggs, soaps, detergents, and beverages.
Emphasizing the importance of treating every child equally, Regional Development Coordinator Miss Martha Cobbina, representing Mr. Aggrey, highlighted the severe impact of child stress on mental health. She conveyed the symbolic significance of the donated items, signifying care and encouragement for the students to feel valued in society.
Miss Cobbina expressed the belief that these children, considered gifts to Ghana, have the potential to contribute significantly to the nation’s socio-economic development. She urged the government to ensure equal treatment for these students.
Mrs. LaTonya Aggrey, a dedicated supporter and advocate for special education, conveyed her joy and admiration for the students of Twin City Special School. She emphasized the importance of understanding children’s needs for their mental health and extended warm wishes for their success.
Acknowledging the generous gesture, the headmistress of Twin City Special School, Madam Crescentia Efua Oduraa Bilson-sai, expressed profound gratitude to CIFF. In her appreciation remarks, she wrote, “I humbly write on behalf of Twin City Special School to express our profound gratitude to the Communities In Faith Foundation for your kind donation to the school. We do appreciate this wonderful gesture and wish to say a big thank you. We also pray that the Almighty God keeps and rewards you abundantly…”
