Heartfelt Philanthropy Foundation gives to Street Academy

THE Heartfelt Philanthropy Foundation has presented a high quality video recorder to the Street Academy, a sports and culture organisation in Accra.

The gesture was to enable the organisation keep a proper record of its activities.

Madam Yvonne Abba Opoku, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Foundation, was joined by Mr Akwesi Oppong-Fosu, the Board Chairman of the Ghana Investment Promotions Council (GIPC) to make the presentation.

According to Madam Opoku, who is also a Special Aid to the King Charles of UK Charity Fund, the Academy was doing so much to keep less privileged children off the streets, indicating that “It was important such activities are well documented.”

“This is the reason why we are making this presentation of a high quality video recorder to the Street Academy. With this, you would be able to keep records of your activities for future generations.

“Records keeping is very key in telling the story about where the academy has come from and where it intends to go. It is my hope that this gesture would help realise this dream,” she added.

On the part of Mr Oppong-Fosu, he commended the academy for the good work it has done over the years to ease the plight of less fortunate children on the streets.

Ataa Lartey, the Director of the academy, expressed gratitude to the donors and appealed to other philanthropists to come to the aid of the academy.
