Chelsea will play Borussia Dortmund, while Tottenham face AC Milan and Manchester City go up against RB Leipzig.
Manchester City will face RB Leipzig. Pep Guardiola’s side are once again hoping to end their search for an elusive Champions League title, with the arrival of ErlingHaaland helping to establish City as firm favourites for this season’s crown.
The Premier League champions were knocked out by eventual winners Real Madrid in last season’s semi-finals, following a dramatic comeback at the Bernabeu.
City will travel to the Red Bull Arena for the first leg before returning to the Etihad for the second leg.
Leipzig came second in their group behind Real Madrid but ahead of Shakhtar Donetsk and Celtic, having won their final four matches of the group-phase.
City lost the 2021 final to Chelsea while they were knocked out in the quarter-finals in the preceding three years – against Sporting Lisbon in 2020, Tottenham in 2019 and Liverpool in 2018.
Guardiola has not won the Champions League since his second success with Barcelona in 2011 at Wembley. – SunSport
