The GJA received shopping vouchers and two television sets for winners in two categories of the upcoming GJA awards, while the DRN Ghana received shopping vouchers, one Kenwood steam iron, one Akai standing fan, and a rice cooker.

The Group Director of Communications at Melcom Group Companies, Mr Godwin Avernogbo, said that the donation was in line with the foundation’s commitment to bridging gaps in healthcare facilitation between urban and rural areas.

The Joint Group Managing Directors of Melcom, Mr Manesh Melwani and Mr Ramesh Sadhwani, took turns presenting the items to representatives of the beneficiaries.

On behalf of the beneficiaries, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Blood Service, Dr Shirley Phyllis Ohenewa Owusu-Ofori, thanked Melcom for the gesture.
