MTN Ghana reaffirms long-term commitment to Ghanaian market

MTN Ghana has reaffirmed its long-term commitment to the Ghanaian market as it celebrates 30 years of operations in the country.
The company said its sustained presence in Ghana had been driven by customer loyalty, strategic partnerships, innovation and continued business expansion, which remained central to its growth and sustainability.
Speaking during the MTN Ghana@30 Float in Accra on Saturday, the Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO), Esi Mmirba Wilson, said the company’s three decades of operations demonstrated its enduring commitment to the Ghanaian market and its customers.
She said MTN Ghana’s journey over the past 30 years had been built on strong relationships with customers, the provision of reliable connectivity, and collaboration with the government and other stakeholders to support the company’s operations and growth.
According to her, the float formed part of activities to celebrate the company’s anniversary and provided an opportunity for MTN Ghana to express its appreciation to customers for their loyalty and continued patronage.
Madam Wilson noted that the anniversary also provided an opportunity for the company to engage its employees and reflect on its future direction as it sought to strengthen and position its operations for the years ahead.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, MTN Ghana said it had rolled out a number of customer-focused initiatives, including promotional activities and a raffle that gives customers the opportunity to win various prizes, including cars.
The CHRO stated that the float was being held across the various regions, with staff and customers participating in the celebrations.
She added that the activities formed part of a broader programme following the company’s Digital Week, with additional marketing and customer-engagement initiatives expected to be rolled out as the anniversary celebrations continued.
Madam Wilson explained that the anniversary celebrations provided an opportunity for the company to deepen its relationship with its customers and celebrate its achievements.
