The National Sports Authority (NSA) has extended its best wishes to the senior national football team, Black Stars, as they engage Africa in the AFCON 2021 tournament in Cameroon which began on Sunday January 9.
“As an essential partner that welcomed the team into our internationally-accredited national stadia during all their qualifying matches for AFCON #Cameroon2021 and FIFA World Cup #QATAR2022, we are confident that the team with the assembly of all necessary conditions will thrill and make Ghanaians proud.
“We’re thankful to all contributors who supported in diverse ways to lift the flag of Ghana at these tournaments. Conspicuously among them are the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Minister and workers of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Governing Body, Management and staff of NSA and the leadership of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
“Others are the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Army and associated security services, Ghana Fire Service, Ambulance Services, and staff of Ghana Health Services, Supporters Union and the fans, for their various roles during the qualifiers and the team’s international engagements.
