Qualiplast launches 50th anniversary
Qualiplast Limited, manufacturers of plastic packaging products, launched its 50th anniversary celebration in Accra on Friday with the unveiling of an anniversary logo.
The General Manager of the company, Mr Joseph Akl, commended employees for their contributions, saying “you are the backbone of our achievements we gather here to celebrate an extra ordinary journey, a journey that spans five decades of innovation, dedication, resilience and progress.”
He said the company began with a small dedicated team but currently has over 600 workforce from diverse background.
The General Manager said the company started with a manual machine but in pursuit of excellence the company had embrace technology advancement in the industry currently and operate over 80 state-of art molding machine.
He commended stakeholders and customers for their partnership and assured of the company’s contribution to promote national growth.
The Human Resource Manager of the Company, Mr Fred Ohene, paid tribute to the forbearers and workers for their dedication in improving the country’s economy over the period and urged them not to rest on their oars.
As part of the programme line-up for the celebration, the company would organise blood donation exercise, float, clean-up exercise, donation to an orphange, games to be climaxed with a dinner dance and awards night.
