Ghana’s free Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme is yet to translate increased enrolment and student retention into improved employment outcomes, a survey report has revealed.
The report also found that many TVET institutions lacked the capacity to provide adequate competency-based training (CBT), a critical component designed to ensure that students master practical skills that meet real-world and industry standards.
