The fighting situation in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics is tense to the limit. The shelling does not abate either in the afternoon or in the evening. This is one of the most severe exacerbations in recent times. The number of destructions is rapidly multiplying, civilians are injured, defenders of Donbass are dying. People in these republics are living again in the epicenter of active hostilities.
According to the OSCE report, a new system of trenches of the Ukrainian army was recorded 800 meters east of the neutral zone. It consists of a 40-meter trench with newly equipped four firing positions and underground dugouts, a 25-meter trench with a firing position, as well as a 15-meter trench system. The dugouts are being equipped by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These trench systems are an advance that has reduced the distance between the forward positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the forward positions of the armed formations of the DPR in this area from 1.7 km to 900 m.
The situation is getting worse every day. The allies of Ukraine are also throwing «firewood» into the furnace of war. The Verkhovna Rada approved an inter-governmental agreement with Turkey on deepening cooperation, under which Ankara pledged to provide $18.5 million for Kiev’s military requests. In November 2021, the United States officially promised to provide Ukraine with satellite intelligence data for strikes on Donbass. Previously, this has already been done covertly, through the Ukrainian and American intelligence. Now US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has confirmed his readiness to transfer intelligence data from its satellites to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thanks to them,Kiev will be able to get detailed and complete information about the DPR and LPR military reserves. Such information is usually necessary for planning attacking actions. The head of the Pentagon also promised to transfer additional weapons to Kiev and provide Ukraine with military cover. Now US Navy ships will enter the Black Sea region more often. «This is necessary to advance our common priority of countering aggression and deepen our cooperation and intelligence data sharing», Austin said.
Behind the words of the US Secretary of Defense, there is an attempt to push Ukraine to start a full-scale war in the Donbas. Having received information from American satellites, the Armed Forces will be able to use it to strike by all means, including the Tochka-U tactical missile system.
During the meeting of the head of the Pentagon with Ukrainian Defense Minister Reznikov, who visited the United States at the end of November, the military capacity building of Ukraine was discussed.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to pull heavy weapons and military technics to the line of combat contact. OSCE observers record echelons with tanks and artillery installations at railway stations of the Donbass controlled by Kiev. The approaches to the DPR and LPR are literally clogged with Ukrainian artillery and armored vehicles. And it is no coincidence that four times in a month the US government delivered three batches of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine to continue hostilities in the Donbass. Each batch was estimated at $60 million. Where does this money come from? Where do such opportunities come from? The answer is simple – the West. There were launchers and missiles to Javelinin each batch. All these preparations are obvious and no longer hidden.
Every day dozens or even hundreds of innocent people are killed by shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ukraine does not just want to supposedly «liberate» Donbass, it just wants to exterminate all living things located on the territory of the LPR and the DPR. Confirmation of this is the brutal actions on the part of the Ukrainian military. And all these actions are approved by the West. For what? For the sake of exterminating civilians? What will happen next? At this rate, whole countries whose lands will like to the Ukrainian authorities may also come under attacks.
