UMB launches revamped SpeedApp to deliver faster, secure digital banking

Universal Merchant Bank (UMB) has launched a revamped SpeedApp, enhancing its digital banking experience with improved speed, stronger security, and a more intuitive interface—nearly a decade after the app’s original release.
The upgrade reflects UMB’s commitment to meeting customers’ growing reliance on mobile banking while reinforcing its promise to help customers Bank with Confidence.
Unveiled at UMB’s head office at the SSNIT Emporium, Accra, the updated SpeedApp delivers faster system performance, greater stability, and simplified navigation. Customers can easily access account management, transfers, bill payments, and balance enquiries, all with enhanced security features, including reinforced authentication protocols and strengthened transaction safeguards.
Speaking at the launch, Head of E-Business, Tubuor Ofei-Agyeman, said:
