The donation is to facilitate the treatment of patients in their treatment and also protect the health personnel in the facility against any infection or diseases.

Presenting the items, the Managing Director of Williemays Industries Limited, MrsBarbara Dedjoe, said apart from the donation, her outfit had decided to support the Breast Cancer Unit with one pesewa of every bottle of Mays Crystal Water purchased by consumers to mitigate the cost of treatment of the disease.
She noted that this was the organisation’s contribution to the fight against breast cancer as the world observes the World Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, 2022.
She explained that In Ghana Breast Cancer was becoming a great public health challenge especially among women, with about 2,900 cases occurring annually, and one-eighth of this number dying from complications.
MrsDedjoe noted that after diagnosis, Breast Cancer patients, together with their families went through a lot of trauma.
“We believe everyone needs that one shoulder to lean on during those challenging times. Off course, I’m aware that close families are doing a lot to support their relatives who have been diagnosed of this disease.
Yet, I will like to use this occasion to again appeal to families to go the extra mile in assisting these relatives. Since it’s quite comforting to know that your families are with you during the challenging times.
This will also help to speed up the recovery,” she said.
She said there was nothing so comforting to realise that one’s family was with her when in any kind of challenge.
“I will entreat family members to continue to assist relatives who find themselves in this situation in their own small way so that they can recover early,” she emphasised.
Mrs Dedjoe said her company was a fully Ghanaian-owned purified drinking water producing company located at Borteyman in the Greater Accra Region.
She noted that since its establishment in 2019, the company had strived to provide high quality and affordable water to consumers to achieve complete customer satisfaction.
“The organisation has also tried to create and cultivate long term relationships with consumers to continuously help to improve the product quality,” she said.
