The management of Wisconsin International University College, Ghana (WIUC-GH) has initiated engagements with 17-year-old Ghanaian inventor with the hope of adopting him.
The Junior High School (JHS) graduate, Samuel Aboagye, recently made social media hits following his invention of a solar-powered electric scooter.

During an engagement session with management of WIUC-GH, the Chancellor, Dr Paul Kofi Fynn, expressed the university’s desire to include Samuel Aboagye in its long list of beneficiaries to enhance his social support system and enable him realise his full potential.
He expressed the need to support and encourage young talents like Samuel to foster development in the country giving instances where talents go waste due to lack of a better support system.
He, therefore, set up a four-member committee to brainstorm and advice on the best approach to ensure Samuel talent is fully maximised.
Samuel Aboagye who took inspiration from the works of his mentor, Ghanaian scientist and entrepreneur, Kwadwo Safo Kantanka was optimistic that the recognition would spur him to achieve his dreams of becoming a globally acclaimed inventor.
Samuel Aboagye hails from Sefwi Bekwai but lives in Tema Comm. 2 and completed Aggrey Road ’2’ Junior High school in 2021 awaiting his result.
