
The Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Lawyer Anatu Anne Seidu Bogobiri, has defended the Chief Justice, Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, over his recent call for Ghanaians to support efforts aimed at building and developing the country.
She described attempts to interpret the Chief Justice’s (CJs) remarks as partisan as “mischievous, hypocritical and unpatriotic”, arguing that the call was fundamentally about national development and not party politics.
According to Lawyer Bogobiri, the Chief Justice did not ask Ghanaians to vote for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) or campaign for the party ahead of the 2028 general election.
Rather, she underlined, the Chief Justice was encouraging citizens to support an agenda that, if successful, would ultimately benefit the entire country. Read More
