Ecobank’s Double Salary promo: 53 customers rewarded
A total of 53 customers of Ecobank has been rewarded under its Double Salary promotion.
Fifty of the customers had their salaries doubled and three had theirs quadrupled.
The Ecobank Double Salary promo Reload is meant to reward existing and prospective customers who receive their salaries through the bank.
The draw is the first to be held under the promotion which was launched in May and will end on 31st July this year.
Speaking at the draw held in Accra on Wednesday, Chief Financial Officer & Executive Director, Ecobank Ghana, Dr Edward Nartey Botchway, said it was important to reward customers who have been with them through the years.
He stated that customers with the salary account, apart from winning, have also benefitted from the bank’s varied insurances.
“These customers have been with us and brought us businesses, so it was important and worth it that we give something back to them as a way of appreciation,” he noted.
He said the promotion was still open to all existing and prospective Ecobank Ghana customers who were 18-years-old, and receiving salaries through their current or savings account.
The Group Head of Products, Consumer Banking, Mr Tara Squire, said the promo was to reward customers who received their salaries through the bank.
He said the salary account does not only receive salary, but it helps manage customers’ finances.
“Being employed is just a first step in your financial journey, you also need to be able to manage your finances because no matter what your salary is, if you don’t manage your finances properly you may never seem to make ends meet,” he said.
The Head of Consumer Products, Ecobank Ghana, Kate Thompson, pointed out that aside the several consolation prizes to be won under the promotion, the account holders were entitled to several benefits, including free life insurance up to GH¢10, 000, the ability to save as they spend, a free debit card, no minimum balance, no card maintenance fee as well as mobile and internet banking services
