The Minister of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Mr Mahama Ayariga, has called for a community-led approach to the redevelopment of Zongo communities, stressing that the process must improve living conditions without displacing residents.
He said the government was prepared to provide the resources and institutional support needed to address persistent challenges facing the communities, including poor sanitation, inadequate housing, unemployment, poor road networks and limited access to basic social amenities. Read More
