The Minister of Defence, Mr Dominic Ntiwul, has urged supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Wulensi Constituency of the Northern Region to foster a culture of unity among themselves.
He stressed that achieving a shared understanding as members of the same party was essential for securing a significant victory in both the parliamentary and presidential elections scheduled for December 7 in the area.
Mr Ntiwul made the call here in Wulensi, the District capital of the Nanunmba South District at a mega rally and health walk held on Saturday.
He said unity and solidarity would lead them to victory, encouraging continued dedication to the party in order to achieve success on December 7.
Mr Ntiwul, who also serves as the Member of Parliament for Bimbilla, expressed his belief that the NPP would triumph in the upcoming 2024 elections.
“I firmly believe that the NPP will persist in serving the citizens of this nation following the December 7 election, provided we remain united in our efforts against a common adversary,” he said.
He noted that the NPP government had significantly enhanced the lives of individuals in the Wulensi Constituency, underscoring the importance of voting for them to sustain their positive initiatives.
The Defence Minister further advised the constituents to embrace peace to facilitate the government’s developmental efforts in the region.
Alhaji Haruna Abdulai, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Wulensi Constituency, addressed party supporters, asserting his confidence in winning the seat decisively against the NDC.
He expressed assurance that the residents of Wulensi would support him due to the advancements he has brought to the area since assuming the role of Parliamentary Candidate.
Alhaji Haruna highlighted his contributions, including the renovation and construction of boreholes and several schools for the constituency.
He pledged to continue supporting infrastructure development until he successfully reclaims the seat for the NPP.
He urged party supporters to remain steadfast in their efforts and to work diligently to secure victory on December 7.
Alhaji Abdulai acknowledged that the constituency had recognized its challenges and was committed to addressing them in order to regain the seat from the NDC. He called upon party members to remain resilient in tackling any issues that may arise within the constituency as a united family.
Alhaji Haruna expressed gratitude to the youth, chiefs, opinion leaders, and party supporters for their impressive turnout at the mega rally and health walk.
