Al Hilal arrive for Kotoko clash
Sudanese side, Al Hilal FC has arrived in Accra ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup match against Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Group C leaders touch down at the Kotoko International Airport and flew out to Kumasi, the venue for the match.
Hilal came without two key players – Idris Mbombo who is serving a two-match ban and Samawal Merghani Noureldin Elyas who is injured.
The Sudanese giants beat Kotoko 1-0 in Omdurman in the opening group fixture last month.
Kotoko are chasing a second straight win to enhance their chances of qualifying from the group.
A win for the Porcupine Warriors would take them up to the top of the table ahead of their last and crucial final match against Zesco United of Zambia.
Meanwhile, CAF has appointed Ethiopian FIFA referee Bamlak Tessema to officiate the match.
He will be assisted by Temesgin Samuel Atango and Mark Ssonko.
It will be referee Tessema’s second official game in Ghana after handling the Black Stars 2017 AFCON qualifier against Mauritius on June 5, 2016.
