Rising Star School marks indece with parade
PRising Star School and Cultural Centre celebrated the 62nd anniversary of Ghana’s independence with a parade and a route march through the principal streets of Community 16 and 17, Lashibi in the Tema West District Assembly.
The procession comprised of a cadet contingent, brass band and a cultural troupe.
The celebration was crowned with sporting activities which was won by Section Red.
In a short speech, the Director of the school, Michael H. Attipoe praised the students for their resilience and dedication.
He also praised the teachers
for their call to duty.
